Welcome to Satocci™ Scan & Pay! Before you start using our platform as a retailer, we want to make sure we're on the same page. These Terms & Conditions explain what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you in return.
By signing up and using Satocci™ as a retailer, you’re agreeing to everything below — so please take a moment to read through.
1. Who Can Sign Up
To use Satocci™ as a retailer, you need to run a legitimate business and have the authority to enter into agreements on its behalf. The information you provide during registration must be true and accurate — no guesswork, please!
2. What You Can Do on the Platform
Satocci™ Scan & Pay is designed to help you offer a seamless checkout experience to your customers. You're welcome to use it to list products, manage in-store transactions, and promote offers. Just make sure your listings are up to date and reflect what you actually sell.
Keep your login credentials safe — if someone gets access, they could make changes on your behalf. You're responsible for any activity under your account.
3. Fees and Payments
We may charge you service or transaction fees — these will be clearly explained during on boarding or via email. You’re also responsible for any taxes or additional charges required in your region. If payments are missed or delayed, we might have to pause your account until everything's sorted out.
4. What you’re Responsible For
You handle your own products, prices, and stock levels. If someone places an order, it's your job to make sure it’s fulfilled correctly and on time. You'll also be responsible for resolving any customer questions or issues that relate to your store or listings.
5. Use of Our Brand
As a retailer, we might feature your store name, logo, or offers on the Satocci platform or in our marketing — it’s great exposure for you. You agree not to misuse our brand or make it look like you’re part of Satocci in a misleading way.
6. What Not to Do
To keep things fair and safe, we don’t allow:
Doing any of this could result in your account being suspended or removed.
7. Handling Customer Data
We take privacy seriously. You can use customer data only to fulfil orders — not for marketing or resale. Satocci complies with international data protection laws, including GDPR, and we expect you to do the same.
8. Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently close your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or act against the interests of our users or business. We may also remove any listings that don’t align with our policies.
9. Liability
While we work hard to provide a reliable platform, we’re not responsible for things outside our control — like lost sales, delays, or technical issues. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you’ve paid to Satocci over the last 90 days.
10. Intellectual Property
Everything you see on the Satocci platform — from our tools to our logo — is protected by intellectual property rights. Please don’t copy, reuse, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without our permission.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or the law. We’ll always make the latest version available, and we’ll let you know if anything major changes. Continuing to use the platform means you accept those changes.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of both Sweden and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai jurisdiction), depending on where your business is based or operates from. Any disputes will be handled under the applicable local laws and within the appropriate courts in either Stockholm, Sweden or Dubai, UAE.
